Greenworld Education and Research (GWER) was incepted in 2017 as a non-profit organisation in New Delhi, with an aim to bridge the learning gap for urban migrant children in the city.
We Work Both at Influencing Upstream Policy and Program
We combine a thirty-thousand feet bird’s eye view of the world with a ground-level worm’s eye view. Hence, we work both at influencing upstream policy and program organization through advocacy and dialogue with key stakeholders, and downstream at ground level through on-ground implementation and experimentation of potential solutions.
The ground-level implementation not only gets into intricate details of what it takes to deliver quality primary education but more importantly directly benefits hundreds of students in terms of improved access to quality education.
Our approach includes engaging with nearby government schools to learn from them and vice versa. We also support children, helping them navigate their documentation issues while mainstreaming them into regular schools.
We have a comprehensive Child Protection Policy that functions under the ambit of the National Policy for Children (2013), ensuring the safety and best interest of every child under the age of 18 years.
